The American Red Cross First Aid/CRP/AED is an instructor-led certification program good for 2 years that provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. This course requires being able to get up and down off the floor to accomplish 2 continuous minutes of CPR.
NOTE: CPR/ First Aid and AED certifications are now good for 2 years. Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, learn the basics of CPR, AED use, bleeding control, recognizing the signs of a heart attack, how to provide care for an adult, child, or infant who stops breathing, is choking, or whose heart stops beating, and more. All instructors have been trained and certified by the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training r.25 program is designed to prepare youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential, real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. This program offers Babysitter’s Training in the classroom.
The class will take 8-10 hours total over 2 sessions.

Successful completion of the course will provide a 10 year Babysitter's Training certification and a 2 year Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
