Financial Assistance

                  

Thanks to donors and members, no one is turned away from The Family YMCA for inability to pay. We believe everyone should have the chance to thrive at the Y. 

The Y’s financial assistance program is for children, teens, adults and families who cannot afford the full cost of a Y membership and programs. The awards enable recipients to pay a reduced percentage of costs.  

We use a sliding fee scale based on total household income and the number of household members, and we require supporting documentation: most recent tax return and current paystubs. We consider special circumstances when providing assistance, so please explain any special hardships. See our monthly income/(en español) or annual income/(en español) charts.  

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR YMCA MEMBERSHIP/PROGRAMS
1.    Please complete the Google Form, download the fillable financial assistance application pdf or pick up an application at the Y.  See Spanish translations below. 
2.    Complete the pdf and attach the required financial documents.  
3.    Scan and email the form and required paperwork to scholarships@laymca.org, or drop off all documents at the Y.  Please black out personal information (social security numbers).
