Fencing

(Ages 10 & up)

This course covers basic fencing strategies and footwork. The beginning/ intermediate class is for participants with little or no experience. The advanced class is for competitive fencers. Instruction will cover use of the foil, strip rules, judging and directing.

Beginners may register for the Intro for Beginners classes. There are two Beginner's classes offered per year. For 2025, there will be one that runs from February 4th-May 6th and another that runs from September 2nd-December 2nd. Space is limited to 12 participants.

Beg: Tuesdays 6:00 - 7:00 pm
Adv: Tuesdays 7:00-9:00 pm

Mandatory Intro for Beginners class total cost is $140/$110 for Y members. Fee must be paid in full with no refunds due to limited class size.
After the Intro class, Monthly Fee: $45 per month / $26 for Y members for all levels.

Program payment policy: payment upon registration is required, no refunds, credits will be given on a case to case basis.
